Pre-Professional Industry Dancer Program
We believe there's so much more to being a dancer than just steps.
Through a combination of a structured physical and mental training curriculum, creative and artistic exploration, industry connections, media kit development, full length theatre production, additional performance opportunities and much more; our 6-month program is designed for dancers who are ready for the next stage of their career in a supportive community environment. Recommended Int/Adv level training, however all ages and experience levels welcome to apply as we will be offering multiple cohorts in the collective.
Program Breakdown
Training Regiment
Our training curriculum includes 6 hours of weekly rehearsal in various commercial, street and hip hop styles. Through a combination of teachers, techniques and approaches, we offer a well-rounded and versatile education to set you up for success and enhance your current skills.
Media Kit Development
Our Industry program will equip you with professional headshots and action shots, performance videos, on-camera performance training and résumé development to prepare you for the next phase of your career.
Industry Connections
MOVMNT dancers will participate in regular workshops, Industry panels and seminars that cover a wide range of topics and create opportunities to connect with professionals in the dance and entertainment Industry.
Performance Intensive
Dancers will participate in full-length theatre production and multiple performance opportunties throughout the program
