NXT GEN Emerging Choreographer

This creative incubator is a 4-month mentorship intensive for emerging choreographers developing their artistic and creative voice. This program supports artists in learning how to lead confidently in the studio, on stage, and on camera, while gaining the tools needed to direct, create, and design the career they envision for themselves.

Motion Lab Dance Film Intensive
Motion Lab is a two-day intensive exploring how dance translates from stage to screen. In partnership with dance production company Palms x Pines Inc, this program offers hands-on experience working both in front of the camera and behind the lens. Participants will learn how to perform for camera, understand framing and movement for film, and explore how choreography can be shaped through cinematic storytelling. Through guided workshops and creative labs, artists will also gain experience directing, choreographing, and collaborating within a filmed environment while creating video content to support their reel and creative portfolio.

At MOVMNT, our artists are encouraged to develop not only technical skill, but self-awareness, perspective and pushing outside of their comfort zone. With a curated team of instructors and choreographers to guide our curriculum, we offer dancers a well-rounded perspective and practical application.
By strengthening both artistic voice and professional readiness, artists gain the confidence to contribute thoughtfully within the industry while continuing to evolve their craft.
