Meet the Artistic Director


Leah Totten is a creative director, choreographer, teacher, professor, producer and adjudicator. With over 16 years of experience in the industry, she has worked with hundreds of dance institutions across Canada, the U.S, the UK, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Hungary and Romania spreading her love and passion to students around the world.

Leah is a Commercial Dance Professor at Centennial College and the resident choreographer/co-creative director for Canada's number one kids pop group Mini Pop Kids where she choreographed two North American tours and is currently travelling as their producer. In 2022-2023, Leah was the Festival Coordinator at Fall For Dance North (Canada's Premiere International Dance Festival), a producer for the Discover Dance series at TOLive, and continues to be a sought-after consultant and creative director for corporate companies.

In 2012, Leah founded BOSS Dance Company, an organization built on empowerment for womxn through hip hop dance where she directed and choreographed five productions, mentoring countless aspiring professional dancers over 10 years. Through The MOVMNT Collective, Leah aspires to facilitate a safe space in which members are encouraged to explore their unique voice and movement, pave their own path, and connect with their artistry and potential on a deeper level.
